- To act as a portal to the local churches within the Deanery;

- To provide information on Deanery wide events;
- To provide access to Deanery meeting information.
Our principal towns are Amersham, Beaconsfield, Chalfont St Peter, Chesham and Gerrards Cross.

The Deanery Synod is a meeting of elected lay church members and clergy from the Deanery, meeting four times a year to discuss topics such as:
- The mission of the local churches;
- Training and resources;
- Stewardship and parish share;
- Implementation of diocesan initiatives;
- Items of interest from external speakers.
We elect members to the Diocesan Synod and so to the General Synod where major debates and decisions are made regarding national church life. The Standing Committee welcomes suggestions for topics and speakers.
